Fireclay brick GIRtech USM Сhamotte heavy duty fireclay with additives is designed for the construction and interior lining of household heating devices. GIRtech USM - Fireclay fireclay brick has improved thermal conductivity compared to traditional fireclay products. Fireclay brick can be used in any type of household heating equipment, such as brick fireplaces, steel stoves, heating ovens, barbecue and grill complexes, ceramic stoves and blacksmiths. It can be used both for arranging the stove of the oven and lining the inner surface of the oven. Fireproof masonry must be done on a fireclay / aluminium mortar, for example GIRtechReady Mix or GIRtech Dry Mix. Before carrying out work, it is necessary to moisten the contact surface with a little water. It is not recommended to use cement mixtures as masonry mortar. GIRtech USM could be cut or machined with a special tool if required. Fireclay bricks are packed in branded boxes of 6 pieces

  • Use with Fireclay/Alumina Mortar: Refractory masonry requires a fireclay/alumina mortar, such as GIRtech CONTACT-40 or GIRtech CONTACT Drymix. Prior to installation, moisten the contact surface with water. Avoid using cement mixes as a masonry mortar.
  • Cuttable and Processable: GIRtech USM fire bricks can be easily cut or processed with a special tool, allowing for customization and precise fitting as needed.
